Doconut

What’s the name of that one cartoon character that loves doughnuts? He always goes on about how good they are by exclaiming a series of ms. That guy would have loved these. The sweetness is overpowering but I’m starting to get a handle on sugar filled pastries. Such a more intense hit than the hidden sugar molecules found in western treats.
Below is an exerpt from a conversation I heard:
“Fuck it. Let’s just put in a bunch of raw sugar.”
“Should we mix it in?”
“Nope. Just put it in there to cover the dried shaved coconut.”
But man oh man did they ever do it with love for such vulgar dudes. Myanmar is a magical place.

Well well well…these days this site should be called ABaum’s Glorious SetSubSet Wonderland Supreme. I’m bringing viruses and everything all up in here with some hits from videos that take 2 years to get noticed. What’s it like to be an internet sensation? Well it’s been nice but that’s over now. Now that it’s over, we can focus on what’s real. Also maybe I’ll actually make posts. Here’s one from Mandalay.
Jianbing is the Right Thing…

…to eat for breakfast. Or any time of the day really. It’s just a delicious snack that the whole family will enjoy. Here we have a very intense conversation in Chinese. Roughly goes like this: “Do you want sauce?” “Want” “Hot?” “Want. Want this. Want this. Don’t want this.” “Four yuan.” A really rare and exciting chance to peep in on a proper conversation.
Oh and welcome back the return to HD!!!! That’s 720 progressively scanning lines of jianbing, people. Respect!
Who Tiao? Youtiao!

Oh yeah. Don’t you just want to sink your teeth into some solidly oily strips of oily dough deep fried in oily oil?
Here we see some delightful youtiao. The breakfast bread stick commonly served with congee. The name means oil strip because of the greasy stains they leave in the toilet bowl.
